It is a pleasure to be able to say that the vast majority of the squad started at Foxes excellent academy for year R players and upwards, which through the hard work of its volunteers continues to provide players for the club season after season, and gives fun and a great introduction to the game for youngsters.

3 of the current team are now entering their 4th season of league football, having played a year “early” before FA age restrictions forced them to drop back into their correct age groups, whilst most have now been with the club as a whole for 5 years or more. A great credit to the club for the way in which the players are looked after and the fantastic facilities, which are undoubtedly among the best in Leicestershire, which are provided.

The team has had great success since coming together, winning the League as an under 8 team and finishing in 4th place in Division 2 (out of 11) last year as Under 9s, topping the table before Christmas, before going on to reach the semi-finals in all 3 end of season tournaments played in.

The on field success and facilities available has seen the team attract 3 further high quality new players for the coming season as under 10s and as a result expectations are high.

With the move to 11 a side football the season after though, the team remains keen to recruit additional experienced and committed players who are keen to play at the highest level, either this season or next, and if you would like to play for Foxes then please contact the club anytime, you will be made to feel very welcome!
